I had high expectations for this courseit did not let me down.!! from the back tees I'm glad we moved up to !! Awesome tee boxes, great fsirways, hug and fast greens that roll pure!! EVERY HOLE ON THIS COURSE WOULD BE A SIGNATURE HOLE ON SOME OF THE BUG NAME COURSES AROUND HERE! The staff on thebcourse is great!! Ill drive up anytime!! Dont pass on this course

I've been hearing about this course for the last 3 years so my expectations were very high. I had just played the Sandhills Golf Club in Mullen NE which is an exclusive top notch golf experience. To my surprise I was not let down even coming from the Sandhills. The course was in excellent shape including greens, fairways, bunkers etc. My preference would be for slightly quicker greens but that is just my preference. Justin in the pro shop was very friendly and accommodating especially helping out on re-round pricing. Forget about the tips unless you are PGA material at yards and LOTS of elevation changes I can't imagine and I'm a 9 HCP. Recommend playing the course more than once you'll appreciate it more each time and learn how to manage the course better. The casino next door has excellent clean rooms and a really low rate. The food at the casino is meh at best and the service there was lacking to say the least. But this is a GOLF course review and it is now one of my favorites and I've played a lot of courses. Thanks for a great time we'll be back! Oh, the pace of play is as fast as you want we hardly so a sole on a Friday (we played 54) or Saturday morning. Don't expect a cart "person" or excellent food at the turnjust plan on great golf.

We enjoyed our round at Tatanka, , as the course of challenging , but playable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We booked a package with the. Ohioya Casino there and were pleased with them too.. will return again next year for a weekend get away.

Our friends told us about this course over in Niobrara, NE, so we decided to check it out. Wow! What a nice surprise! Beautiful vistas, rolling hills, lush fairways, carpet greens - we loved it! We also took two traveling golf pros with us who were in town for a pro-am tournament and they loved it too. They both said it made their all Top 10 list of best golf courses they’ve ever played - and they’ve played ALOT of different courses! Even though the rate is a bit high, it is well worth it! You’d pay over $/round for a course like this in a Texas or California. Give it a try - you’ll love it!

They were punching the greens while we played. About half the greens were closed. No discount. Pro shop person was defensive. Hotel bar closed on Monday night. Food was poor at best. Service was very slow. No hotel food for breakfast.

  I dont know about the casino, but I've received the best customer service at the food counter. I ordered an Indiana burger with some fries and doctor pepper and the worker behind the counter, is the face of the whole casino.
  
  Food is bomb here. So I would highly suggest to try their burgers.

  Today my husband and I stopped for a potty break, a quick lunch, and to stretch the legs. Bathrooms are very clean and nice. We ate lunch at 2pm and were the only people in the restaurant area. Our waitress seemed annoyed we were there. Food was fine; nothing special. But be aware, their 'fries' are tater tots. They tasted good thoI was just expecting fries. No biggie.
  
  It looks like this area is where they do their buffet as well. It's super small. So don't expect a huge buffet. And their dessert cooler was pathetic. All it had was old lookin' cherry pie and chocolate cake with sprinkle frosting.
  
  I did throw $10 in a penny slot and turned it into $ within minutes. I quit then because we wanted to get back on the road. Now, this casino only has slots unless some special event is going on.
  
  Two years ago I stayed in their hotel. (My Mom and I were on a NE Geocaching trip.) The rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable. We did get security calling us because we were 'too loud' which we found stupid since it was pm on a Wednesday. We were watching the Olympics and kinda yelling at the tv, but we weren't that loud.
  
  My Dad and brother have golfed here a couple times. They really enjoy the course.
  
  You can smoke on the casino floor, FYI.
  
  There is outdoor seating but I've never seen it open.
  
  Don't know if there's a pool or hot tub.
  
  Free non-alcoholic beverages on the casino floor.
  
  Staff has always been super friendly minus our waitress who seemed like us being there was the worst part of her day.

  The prices are high for the hotel. The casino machines are actually just a form of bingo. You can change your bingo card on all the machines.
   The payout percentage seems to be a lot lower than at the old location.
  The employees I've met have been very nice.

  A bright orange beacon lighting up the prairie, the Ohiya casino is a respite for
  gamblers and truckers looking to come in from the extreme Nebraska heat/cold and win back some gas money.
  
  But I am here to warn you, dear traveler, as I write from the bottom of my last beer bottle at the casino's bar, that you would do best to keep driving.
  
  I am a lesser man for having been here.
  
  No table games. No poker. No hope. Ohiya casino is full of maybe flashing slot machines, all of which pay out less than a parking meter.
  
  Take heed. You have better odds of finding me wandering broke and destitute in the cornfield outside than winning money here.

  The rooms are nice and clean. The beds are comfortable. The food at the restaurant tastes good. The employees are friendly and helpful! I will stay here again! If is not terribly expensive either. The food is affordable and tastes good at the Legends restaurant!

  While the room itself wasn't too bad, the hotel itself is either incompetant or dishonestor both.  On 2/14/18 online I booked a ONE night stay in a KING SUITE for Saturday 7/28/  On 5/9/18 I received a letter that said prices had increased and I would now be charged $20 more for my reservatio.  Who does that?  My initial booking price should have been honored.  I decided I would take it up with the hotel when we were there for the wedding.  On 7/11/18 I decided to check my reservation just to make sure everything was still in order.  Now, my reservation was for TWO nights, Friday 7/27/18 and Saturday 7/28/  I called and talked to Gary on the phone.  He changed my reservation back to ONE night and didn't have any answer how it got changed.  We showed up this past weekend, 7/28/18, at p and were told there was no way to check us in until 2p.  Ok.  Killed some time and came back.  However, rather than the KING SUITE we now had a REGULAR KING.  And no KING SUITES available.  I again asked how this happened and she said it was modified on 7/11/  So Gary not only changed me back to the one night I had booked, but had changed the type of room.  With the Oakridge Boys performing Sunday 7/29/18 I feel like the hotel did this all on purpose to get more money for that room.  We were not the only people in our group to have problems.  My sister booked her KING room via the phone and confirmed more than once that it was for one night, Saturday 7/28/  When they checked in shortly after us, they were told their reservation was for Friay 7/27/18 and they could be put on a waitlist for a room.  By later that evening, they did magically find them a room, but it was two QUEEN beds.  They were just happy to have a room at that point.  Unfortunately there is not much else around here to stay.  And FYI - can smoke on casino floor so tends to waft down hall towards rooms a bit.  Yuck.
